The neuroscience of PowerPoint

During this interactive and engaging discussion, we will explore how emerging knowledge of the brain and behaviour can be used to help get our message across in a way that resonates and truly sticks with our students. We will explore several key learning principles – how people learn and how to apply the principles in any forum where learning is the intended goal. Given that PowerPoint remains a mainstay of higher education, we will examine how application of these key learning principles can guide better design and utilisation in this medium as an example.
